Currently, the market is shifting from basic imported aluminum to high-density cast iron. The preference for a frying pan cast iron enameled is growing among urban middle-class consumers who seek the heat retention of iron without the rigorous seasoning maintenance required by traditional pots.
Despite this growth, there is a gap in the availability of specialized sizes. Many households still rely on oversized pots, but there is an emerging trend toward the small enameled cast iron skillet for individual portions and modern apartment living in Angolan metropolitan areas.
